In order to help others, I came into this field of massage therapist three years ago. However, there's only so much I can do as a massage therapist. In 2008, I decided to try something more challenging. I enrolled to a class to be trained as an emergency medical technician (EMT). Unfortunately, due to my lack of field knowledge, I failed to pass the class. Giving up was an easier choice, though it'll defeat the purpose of trying. Last year, my second attempt has paid off. I passed the class, though it's too early to celebrate. I will still need to take the national registry before being qualify to work as an EMT.
I always believe that everything happen for a reason. We all have our paths to walk, and there will always be obstacles along the way, how we deal with it is up to us. A positive attitude will definitely go a long way, at the least, makes a trip more enjoyable. Not letting various things bother us will also help. Why spend extra time and energy for petty things? The abilities to let go will save us much stress and hassle, both mentally and physically, which can be used toward larger goals. Of course, everything is always easier said than done, then again, if we don't try, we'll never know.
