For almost 20 years in the banking business, I was making quite a decent living. But I kept asking myself if this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Working six plus days a week left me little time to rest, let alone enjoying my life. And what good would the money be if there's no time to spend it. Good thing is, I was lucky to be able to get out while I still could.
While studying at Swedish Institute in Manhattan, New York, I was sent to hospital and nursing home on an internship to work on patients with terminal illnesses. It was then I realized how meaningful it was to work with the elderly and the sick. During that same time, my intuition told me destiny has a plan for me in the West Coast. After graduated in December 2006, I packed and moved to Bay Area in April 2007 where it's closer to my family, despite of my passing of the NY State Board Exam . Upon receiving my San Francisco and Alameda permits, destiny threw me over at Mariner Square Athletic Club where I began my practice in July 2007. To my delight, majority of the club members are quite......sophisticated.
I didn't know what my goal was during my first career, but I am certain that I'm on the right track now. There is still much to learn, but my goal is clear, so getting there is a matter of time. Combining my past experience, new knowledge and sincerity, I look forward to provide an alleviating therapeutic experience to all my clients. I am so ready, are you?
